Two men have been arrested for reportedly holding a Lyft driver hostage at gunpoint.

The Oklahoma City Police Department was alerted to a robbery in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At approximately 3:30 am, officers initiated a pursuit of two suspects, while another officer rendezvoused with the victim.

The victim, as stated in a police report, was working for Lyft near Club One15 in Bricktown when he encountered two black men who flagged him down, requesting a ride. In response, the victim advised them to utilize the app to request their ride.

The suspect then ordered the driver to take them to Durant.

The suspects instructed the driver to drive them to a club located at 3030 N Portland Avenue after going around in the car.

After the incident, the victim made their way to the 7/11 store located at NW 23rd St and N Portland Ave in order to contact the police.

The witness provided a description of one of the suspects as a black male with short hair, wearing a white shirt and carrying a backpack. The other suspect was described as a black male with short hair styled in short dreadlocks or cornrows.

The victim was in a state of shock and repeatedly expressed fear due to the threats made by the suspects. They warned him that they would harm both him and his family if he contacted the police.
