Three individuals were found dead at a gas station in State Line, Mississippi on Wednesday morning, prompting an ongoing investigation by authorities.

According to witnesses at the scene, NBC 15 reports that a female clerk, along with a male companion and another individual, were shot at approximately 5:30 am.

Greene County officials reported that law enforcement was alerted to an active shooting at the Exxon/Clark Gas Station around 6:00 a.m.

Law enforcement deduced that it was a robbery after watching surveillance video. Two victims were found inside the store and one outside the store.

According to the authorities, a vehicle was stolen from the scene, and law enforcement has managed to locate it. However, the suspect responsible for the theft is still at large and has not been apprehended.

The vehicle was found about 4 miles away from the scene.

MS Corrections enlisted the assistance of K9 to track the suspect’s scent from the vehicle, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful in their efforts.

The victims of the incident included a store worker, a customer, and potentially a relative or friend of the worker.

Everyone complied with the robber, and he successfully obtained the money.

The suspect is described as a heavyset Black male, weighing between 200 and 250 pounds, and standing at a height of 5’10 to 6 feet tall.
