73-Year-Old Man Killed in Des Peres Pedestrian Crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a deadly pedestrian crash that occurred on Saturday in St. Louis County.

According to the MSHP report, the incident took place at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Manchester Road near Tallie Drive in Des Peres.

A 2002 Nissan Altima was traveling eastbound when a 73-year-old man walked into the vehicle’s path and was struck. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation into the incident is being conducted by MSHP Troop C in conjunction with the Des Peres Police Department.
