Woman from Maryland fatally shot in a park in DC

D.C. police are currently offering a reward for information regarding the shooting of a 21-year-old Maryland woman in a Southeast D.C. park on Saturday afternoon. The victim tragically lost her life in the incident.

D.C. police are offering a reward for any information regarding the shooting that occurred in a Southeast D.C. park on Saturday afternoon, resulting in the death of a 21-year-old Maryland woman.

Ambria Farmer, hailing from District Heights, Maryland, has been identified as the woman in question.

According to a news release, authorities were notified of an unconscious individual at Fort Dupont Park off Minnesota Avenue in Southeast D.C. around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, prompting the police to be called to the scene.
