Two men were discovered dead inside a car parked on a street in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon. Sources indicate that the cause of death appears to be a drug overdose.

Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a 911 call at 12:57 p.m. The incident occurred near E. 10th St. and Avenue O in Midwood.

Upon arrival, they discovered an unresponsive 38-year-old man and another unidentified man in his 30s inside a red four-door sedan parked by a hydrant in the middle of the block. This information was provided by sources and confirmed by the authorities.

A local resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, expressed her shock at the incident, stating, “The police mentioned that it was an overdose.

It’s absolutely mind-boggling. My only concern was to ensure the safety of my children, so I made sure to keep them away from the area.”

The bodies were discovered by the Shomrim civilian patrol, who promptly alerted the police, according to sources.

EMS declared both of the men dead at the scene. According to the police, there were no apparent signs of physical injury.
