BRANDON, Miss. (WLBT) – Authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a husband and wife in Brandon.
Police reported that the couple was discovered Saturday morning at a residence on Toulon Street following a welfare check requested by family members concerned about 30-year-old Jennifer Sheffield.
Family members present at the scene noted “obvious signs of foul play” inside the home.
Upon entering, authorities found the bodies of Jennifer Sheffield and her husband, 40-year-old Brandon Sheffield.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
