Clear Lake woman sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to taking money from convenience store

CLEAR LAKE — A Clear Lake woman accused of taking thousands of dollars from a convenience store cash register has been sentenced to probation.

50-year-old Hollie Tatro was charged with second-degree theft after being accused of taking about $2885 from the register at the Casey’s General Store at 6 Plaza Drive in Clear Lake while she was employed between September 1st and September 14th.

Tatro agreed to plead guilty to the charge, with Judge Karen Salic on Monday issuing a deferred judgment in the case. Salic sentenced Tatro to two years probation and was ordered to repay the stolen money back to Casey’s.
