Truck Driver Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 Near Malvern

MALVERN, Ark. — A Mississippi truck driver lost his life in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 30 near Malvern, Arkansas, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police (ASP).

The victim, identified as 30-year-old K’shun Malone, was traveling eastbound in a 2020 Kenworth when the 18-wheeler veered off the roadway near the 100-mile marker and collided with a tree.

Trooper Jackson Daniell, who investigated the crash, stated that weather and road conditions at the time of the incident were clear and dry. The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2024. Malone’s body was transported to the coroner’s office in Saline County.

The ASP cautions that preliminary reports may contain inaccuracies, including errors in names, ages, or other details. Updated reports may correct these discrepancies, but names of uninjured individuals, juveniles, or those not directly involved are typically excluded.
