Two women who were being sought in connection with the death of a man in a Jackson motel room have been apprehended.

On Monday morning, Jeremy Easterling, a 30-year-old man, was fatally shot in a room at the Crown Motel, which is situated near West Capitol Street. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and tragically lost his life.

Later in the day, the Magee Police Department made an announcement regarding the arrest of two murder suspects from Jackson. The arrest took place near the Love’s Truck stop on Highway 49 South in Simpson County.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Chief Joseph Wade of the Jackson Police announced that the two women arrested, Arianna Expose (25 years old) and Angela Rhodes (34 years old), were the individuals wanted in connection with the murder of Easterling.

According to Chief Wade, the two women from Magee allegedly arranged a meeting with Easterling before they reportedly killed him.

Expose and Rhodes are currently in custody of the JPD and are facing charges of murder.

In court on Tuesday, the two women were both granted a $500,000 bond.
