Police Search for Gunman Who Shot 17-Year-Old in Brooklyn

Police are searching for a gunman who allegedly shot a 17-year-old boy in Brooklyn last week. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, at the intersection of President Street and Classon Avenue in Prospect Heights.

Authorities said the teen was walking when he was approached by five men. One of the suspects fired a gun, hitting the victim in the abdomen.

The group then fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on Washington Avenue. EMS rushed the injured teen to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was listed in critical condition.

The shooter is described as a man with a heavy build and medium complexion, wearing all black at the time of the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
