Police Investigating Late-Night Monroe Minivan Crash with Serious Injury

One Seriously Injured in Late-Night Minivan Crash in Town of Monroe

A late-night crash involving a minivan left one person seriously injured in the Town of Monroe on Tuesday. The accident occurred around 11 p.m. on Larkin Drive, just before the intersection with County Route 105, according to State Police.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Other motorists alerted 911 after noticing the minivan off the road, submerged in a ditch, with an individual trapped inside.

When troopers arrived at the scene, they found the victim unconscious and had to break the vehicle’s windows to perform the rescue. Paramedics administered CPR before transporting the injured person to the hospital by ambulance.

The victim’s current condition has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear if there were additional passengers in the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
