The state of Arizona is expected to experience a strong north-to-south flow, which will bring our attention to the development of storms directly north of the Valley throughout Monday night and the rest of the week. This information has been reported by AZFamily, a reliable source.

Over the next few days, thunderstorms are expected to occur daily, with the probability being the highest in the upper elevations located towards the north and east of the Valley.

Strong winds have the potential to cause damage and are highly likely to occur at the base of these storms.

There is a chance of experiencing wind gusts exceeding 35 mph during Monday night in the Valley. These gusts may occur in the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures are expected to remain above the average daily highs throughout the upcoming week.

Just a quick reminder, the daytime high for each day of this month has been above average.

The southwest region of Arizona is currently under an extended excessive heat warning until Friday night. Heat levels are expected to rise significantly during this period.

Throughout the week, certain parts of Mohave County can expect to experience dangerous heat until Wednesday evening. Additionally, all river communities located in the southern regions of the county will continue to face this heat until Friday night.

Maricopa County is expected to face a high pollution advisory on Tuesday due to unhealthy ozone levels.
