Pedestrian Killed in Late-Night Crash on Dallas I-30

Pedestrian Killed in Accident on I-30 in Dallas

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on westbound Interstate 30 near Cockrell Hill Road on Tuesday evening, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver involved in the incident stopped at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, officials confirmed.

All westbound lanes of I-30 at Cockrell Hill Road were closed following the accident, with traffic being diverted as emergency crews managed the situation. The crash was reported at approximately 8:20 p.m.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the fatal incident. Further details about the victim and the circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released.
