A teenager, who was already being investigated for the alleged rape of another teenager, has been arrested by the police for planning to harm his former partner and her family.

Matthew Robert Austin, an 18-year-old man, was apprehended by the police when they found him in possession of a Home Depot bag containing a painter’s mask and latex gloves. Austin, who is already facing charges for the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl, had intentions to harm his former girlfriend and her mother.

According to court documents, Austin’s friends reported to the Norman Police Department that he had been discussing “harming his ex-girlfriend and family.” This information led to Austin’s arrest by deputies, as stated in a copy of an arrest warrant affidavit.

According to the affidavit, Norman Police discovered Austin near his ex-girlfriend’s residence on July 18. He was found in possession of “a Home Depot sack containing latex gloves and a painter’s mask.”

On August 1, an arrest warrant was issued for Austin, detailing an incident reported on July 14. The mother of a 14-year-old girl, identified as “TL” in court documents, contacted the Moore Police Department in Oklahoma and accused Austin of sexually assaulting her daughter. During the investigation, the mother provided text messages exchanged between TL and Austin, which were presented to the police as evidence.

According to the police, (Victim) stated during her forensic interview that she initially met Matthew at their church. They later exchanged phone numbers when she visited the restaurant where he is employed.

According to the police, Austin, who claimed to be 16, was involved in a sexual assault case as relayed by TL. However, jail records indicate that he was actually born in November 2005, making him 18 years old. TL reported that Austin went to her house, forced himself on her, and sexually assaulted her in July. In an attempt to keep it a secret, Austin reassured TL that everything would be fine and advised her not to tell anyone due to their age. The Moore Police Department’s affidavit reveals that Austin admitted to TL that he had done this before and assured her that it would be okay.
