Wichita Fire crews sprung into action when they received a call about an apartment fire in southeast Wichita on a Sunday morning.
The call was received shortly after 6 a.m. in the 900 block of S. Mission, near Lincoln and Woodlawn.
The fire seemed to originate from the kitchen, causing concern among the residents. An individual from a neighboring unit had to be evacuated and was initially reported to be in serious condition.
Fortunately, the firefighters were able to swiftly extinguish the fire, bringing the situation under control in just a matter of minutes.
