17-Year-Old Girl Among Victims of Kansas City Shooting

A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed outside a deli in Brooklyn early Tuesday morning, authorities reported.

The victim, identified as Najee Berry, was stabbed multiple times in the back and torso near the Mucho Loco Deli and Grocery on Sutter Avenue near Junius Street in Brownsville around 6:50 a.m., according to police.

Chawpi Time, an employee working behind the deli counter at the time, described the scene, stating, “The guy was on the floor. He was all bloody.”

Emergency responders transported Berry to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Berry, who resided in Crown Heights, was attacked by an unidentified suspect who fled the scene. The assailant remains at large, and police are continuing their investigation.
