Blue Alert issued and suspect’s image released by police in relation to Tennessee trooper shooting

On Friday night, the Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper was shot, resulting in the closure of the eastbound lanes of I-40 in Putnam County.

According to THP officials, the shooting occurred at mile marker 285.

Officials are on the lookout for two black males, who have facial tattoos and were last seen driving a white Kia Forte with a possible TN temporary tag Q9SC4JR. They were last spotted heading east on I-40.

According to reports, the trooper’s condition is stable.

Officials from THP reported that they found the car.

Two suspects have been issued a Blue Alert by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

At the moment, they are uncertain about their direction.
