Mississippi Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Customers with Gun at Starkville Pool Hall

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — A 34-year-old man from Morton, Mississippi, was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly threatening individuals with a gun at a Starkville pool hall.

David Ramirez was taken into custody following an incident at Southern Billiards on South Washington Street. According to the Starkville Police Department, Ramirez was removed from the business after an argument, during which he reportedly brandished a firearm at other patrons while leaving the premises.

Officers apprehended Ramirez shortly after the incident on Lafayette Street. He faces multiple charges, including possession of a weapon by a felon, four counts of simple assault by threats, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, disturbance of a business, and disorderly conduct.
