91-year-old Man And 66-year-old Woman Found Dead With Their Necks Slashed Inside Brooklyn Home

Two people were found dead with their necks slit in a gruesome scene inside a Brooklyn home Sunday afternoon.

Officers responding to a 911 call discovered Roosevelt Simmons, 91, and Jacqueline Delyons, 66, brutally murdered inside a two-story home at 186 Warwick St. in Cypress Hills at around 4:30 p.m., according to police.

The NYPD discovered both victims’ bodies on the kitchen floor, each with slash wounds to the neck.

Police pronounced both victims, who resided in the house, dead at the scene.

Police added that they immediately apprehended a male person of interest.

The probe is still ongoing. Current victim-person of interest relationship is unknown.

It’s unclear who made the 911 call, including whether the person of interest called.
