7 People Arrested By Norfolk Police After Sunday Morning Barricade

Norfolk Police detained seven individuals following a prolonged barricade situation that occurred on Sunday morning.

At approximately 5 a.m., the police received a report about a barricaded individual in the 3100 block of Grandy Avenue.

Four individuals were apprehended without any injuries, according to their later statement. However, at 9:15 a.m., they revised their report, disclosing that a total of seven individuals were taken into custody. They confirmed that the situation had been entirely resolved by that time.

We are currently investigating the circumstances leading to this barricade and determining if there will be any criminal charges pressed.
