Authorities in Pontotoc County are seeking the public’s help in locating a stolen dump trailer that was taken on Christmas Eve.
The trailer, which was filled with trash, was stolen from a residence on Hwy 278 in Thaxton, located near Lafayette.
The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department believes the trailer may be in the western part of Pontotoc County or in Lafayette County.
The owner of the trailer posted online, suggesting that a white RAM truck may have been seen towing the trailer toward Oxford on Highway 6.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department’s Investigation Division. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
