MASON CITY — Snowplow crews in Cerro Gordo County are ready to go for the winter storm.
County Engineer Brandon Billings says crews today are going out to make sure they know their routes. “Anybody that has a new route or is a new driver is going around with their new trucks and setting their blades and just kinda doing prep, and just getting ready so they are ready for the storm. There’s a wide range of what might and could happen on this, so if they are going to use the blades, I want them to be acquainted with it and comfortable with the whole thing before it starts.”
Billings says they are also stockpiling supplies to be ready for the storm.
