Dozens of military families have welcomed their heroes home. One hundred fifty Iowa National Guard members have returned home following a year-long mission overseas.
The video above shows the Des Moines air base as soldiers reunite with their families.
While overseas, their unit accomplished 50 building projects and put in 60,000 hours of military labor.
Officials claim they have gotten dozens of awards for their service.
