Mason City police continue search for missing girl

MASON CITY — Mason City police are continuing their search for a 15-year-old girl that’s been missing for almost two months.

Police say Tala Rose Schaal was reporting missing by her family on October 10th, being last seen at her home. The department says they received a notification about Schaal on their social media accounts on November 15th and received some tips that have been followed up on, but none of those leads have led to the girl being found.

Police believe Schaal is in the north-central Iowa area and due to her age is being harbored by others.

Anyone with information about Schaal’s whereabouts is ask to call 421-3000 or 911 if you have information of her immediate location.
