Mason City man sentenced for dealing meth
MASON CITY — A Mason City man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison on federal methamphetamine distribution charges.
30-year-old Cameron Brunstein pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute meth and two counts of distribution of meth. He admits receiving pound quantities of meth and reselling it in and around the Mason City area.
Brunstein was caught selling meth twice in Mason City, and after search warrants were issued for his home, law enforcement seized meth, heroin, cocaine, LSD and other pharmaceutical drugs along with cash and distribution materials.
US District Court Chief Judge Leonard Strand recently sentenced Brunstein to 168 months in prison to be followed by a five-year term of supervised release.
