Man told children that he dreamt about detaining his female students after class and abusing them behind a closed door after sending them explicit video of himself in his classroom and even saved some of their recordings for later use; charged

Following his arrest, authorities charged the 28-year-old educator from Indiana, Emtlaz, with multiple charges, including possession of child pornography, child solicitation, and vicarious sexual gratification. During the inquiry, which began some months prior, officials discovered that the defendant allegedly sent video of himself measuring multiple children. According to investigators, the defendant purportedly recorded the video in his classroom.

During the inquiry, investigators discovered that the defendant recorded himself in his classroom before sending a video of himself to 13-year-old minors via an instant messaging app.  The defendant allegedly told the girls that he was a mischievous teacher who frequently fantasized about his students. Authorities also learned that the defendant had preserved recordings sent by the 13-year-old girls on his phone. He reportedly informed police that he preserved the films so he could use them for fantasies.

According to police officials, the inquiry began some months ago when authorities received a tip from an instant messaging program that someone was downloading child pornography. The instant messaging service also stated that the individual in question is a ‘person of trust,’ such as a police officer, teacher, or coach. At the same time, officials received reports from witnesses that an educator was self-policing himself in the classroom.

The authorities then executed search warrants on two accounts used by the defendant to send and receive videos. During the inquiry, investigators discovered that the defendant allegedly provided a video to numerous girls in which he measures himself in the classroom. The defendant also stored videos from a 13-year-old girl on his phone, which he later claimed he used to fantasize about his students.

During an interview with investigators, the defendant reportedly admitted to talking to 13-year-old girls. Authorities also discovered that the instructor told the 13-year-old girls he was from Indiana and dreamed about abducting his female students after class behind a locked door. Authorities investigated the defendant’s phone and discovered child porn videos sent by one of the 13-year-olds. After posting a $40,000 bond, authorities released the 28-year-old man on bail. Court records set his trial date for February 10, 2025.
