Man Pronounced Dead After Being Found Unconscious on Seawall Boulevard

Galveston Police Investigate Man’s Death with Head Injuries Found Early Sunday Morning

Galveston police are actively investigating the death of a man who was discovered with apparent head injuries early Sunday morning on Seawall Boulevard.

Officers arrived at the scene in the 2700 block near the intersection of 27th Street around 1:40 a.m., where they found an unconscious man.

The victim was transported to the UTMB Galveston emergency room by Galveston EMS, where he was later pronounced dead, according to the Galveston Police Department. The exact cause of the injuries remains under investigation.

Authorities are requesting assistance from the public. Anyone with information, video surveillance, or dashcam footage related to the incident is urged to contact investigators at 409-765-3702. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Galveston County Crime Stoppers at 409-763-8477 or through their online platform at www.galveston.crimestoppersweb.com.
