A 41-year-old man from Hutchinson is currently in jail on a $100,000 bond, facing multiple charges, including soliciting a child.
The Hutchinson Police Department announced that the man was arrested on December 11 on several charges, including indecent solicitation of a child to commit or submit to an unlawful sexual act, electronic solicitation of a child aged 14-15, sexual exploitation of a child, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a parole violation.
The arrest was made by detectives from the Investigations Division, Special Operations Division, and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit. Police have not released further details regarding the case at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, and formal charges are still pending. As a policy, KSN does not disclose the identities of individuals believed to be connected to a crime until formal charges have been filed.
