Man, 53, Attacked by Dog in Bronx Robbery, Police Searching for Suspect

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly released his dog to attack a man before robbing him in the Bronx last month. According to the NYPD, the incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Villa Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bedford Park area.

The 53-year-old victim was approached by the suspect, who reportedly let his dog bite the victim. During the attack, the suspect stole the victim’s cellphone and fled the scene on foot.

The victim declined further medical treatment at the scene. Authorities have released images of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS..
