CLEAR LAKE — Clear Lake hosts Forest City tonight in Class 2A District 3 play. The Lions are looking to bounce back from a 40-27 loss at Crestwood last week and keep their playoff hopes alive. Clear Lake coach Jared DeVries says his team is taking a “one game at a time” approach in this final three weeks of the regular season.

Forest City comes in with an 0-6 record, but DeVries says they aren’t looking past the Indians.

MASON CITY — Mason City celebrates homecoming hosting Des Moines East. The Mohawks are looking for their first win of the season and host a 2-4 Scarlets squad that fell to Waukee last week. Mason City coach Matt Berkley says East has a quick group of players on offense.

Berkley says he likes how his team matches up with East.
