Clear Lake Seawall placed on National Register of Historic Places

CLEAR LAKE — The City of Clear Lake and the Clear Lake Historical Society on Sunday announced that the National Historic Landmarks Program of the National Park Service has placed the Clear Lake Seawall on the National Register of Historic Places.

The city and Historical Society started the process to have the Seawall listed on the National Register of Historic Places in October 2021, working with RDG Planning & Design.

The city back in May completed a restoration and preservation project that ensures the Seawall will be available for visitors and community members to enjoy for generations to come.
