CLEAR LAKE — A Clear Lake man is in jail after being accused of recently breaking into several storage units.

Authorities say seven storage units located in the 200 block of South 24th Street in Clear Lake were broken into by using bolt cutters, which were later also used to cut through barbed wire on a security fence. 21-year-old Ezra Marroquin is accused of taking televisions, a laptop computer and a computer tablet during the burglary.

He’s been charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, possessing burglary tools and possession of marijuana. He’s being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a total of $3000 bond.
