Clarksville man dead after house fire

CLARKSVILLE — A Clarksville man is dead after a house fire on Monday night.

The Clarksville Fire Department was called to 105 North Baughman Street at about 9:35 Monday night. The body of 50-year-old Danny Coonley was found inside the home.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of Coonley’s death. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Firefighters were on the scene for over five hours on Monday night and were called back out early Tuesday morning on the report the fire had flared up once again.
