The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department says they were called at about 1:10 Thursday afternoon to the 9000 block of Indigo Avenue, where on arrival they found a rural mail carrier, 61-year-old Robert De Los Santos of Sheffield, struck a county conservation maintenance worker, 22-year-old Isaac Bartz of Mason City, who was working on some trees in the ditch.
