Bloomingdale to seek a fourth term in Iowa House

NORTHWOOD — Northwood Republican Jane Bloomingdale has announced she’ll seek her fourth term in the Iowa House.

Bloomingdale currently represents House District 51 that includes all of Worth, Mitchell and Howard counties as well as the northwestern corner of Winneshiek County. With redistricting, she’ll seek the House District 60 seat, which includes all of Worth and Mitchell counties, the western portion of Cerro Gordo County, and the northwestern corner of Floyd County.

Bloomingdale is a former mayor and city councilwoman in Northwood who currently chairs the Local Government committee and also serves on the State Government, Ways and Means, and Legislative Council committees, as well as the Administration and Regulation budget subcommittee.
