A fatal crash occurred on Saturday evening in east Wichita, resulting in the loss of one life.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., a collision occurred at the intersection of Rock Road and the westbound Kellogg frontage road. According to the Wichita Police, a truck traveling south on Rock disregarded a red light and collided with a westbound car occupied by three individuals.
The truck driver sustained severe injuries and unfortunately passed away at the scene. As for the car driver and passengers, they were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but their injuries were minor.
The authorities have not yet released the name of the victim involved in the crash as they continue to investigate the incident.
