Local organizations joined forces on Saturday to make sure that Mississippi troops deployed overseas can have a joyful holiday season.
Mississippi Project Package, Cub Scouts, Boy Scout troops, families, and volunteers came together for the 9th year to show their support for soldiers during the holiday season. The gathering took place at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, where they packed care packages.
Every year, the Christmas for Troops campaign is dedicated to assembling care packages filled with delightful treats and essential toiletries for our brave troops stationed overseas.
