A Kansas City man has been charged after approximately $4,300 in cash was stolen from a Target store in the Northland area.

In a recent development, court records from the Clay County, Missouri, Circuit Court have revealed that Brad L. Maguire, a 45-year-old resident of Kansas City, has been formally charged in connection with a series of thefts that occurred at various Target stores. This news comes after diligent investigation and evidence gathering by law enforcement officials.

According to a bind over document filed on Thursday, it was revealed that on February 29 and March 7, 2024, Maguire entered the Kansas City North Target located at 8420 N. Madison Ave. During those visits, Maguire stole a total of $4,300 in cash.

Maguire is facing serious charges of two counts of burglary and two counts of stealing, which could lead to severe consequences. If he is found guilty, he may be sentenced to up to 44 years in prison and be required to pay a substantial fine of up to $20,000.

As of Sunday, December 15, there is no warrant issued for his arrest. He is not currently in custody. The arraignment is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 19.

There has been no additional information released.
